On March 2, 2023, IE University and the Observer Research Foundation hosted the Tech4Democracy Asia Venture Day in New Delhi, India. Ko Fujii, CEO of Makaira, was invited to participate as one of eight judges from around the world.
This event is a global competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and Microsoft Corporation, where “startups that contribute to the development of democracy” are selected from each continent to participate in the finals. This year’s event was the Asian competition.
